North York Harvest Food Bank provides food to tens of thousands of people. Facing a leadership gap in fundraising, they lacked the direction and capacity to manage their fundraising team and the strategy. 

What we did: 

Further Together provided six months of Interim Leadership. We managed a team of five, optimized grant systems, developed key messages, and supported the recruitment and onboarding of their new Director of Development. We also developed Community-Centric guidelines for the team and for the organization overall, helping move the needle within North York Harvest Food Bank. 

The results: 

Within months, Further Together secured a $1-million-dollar gift—a testament to the impact of expert strategy and skilled leadership. 

With our leadership, the senior management team was able to focus on finding the best candidate for their organization, rather than just someone with experience. Due to there being interim leadership, that candidate was set up to hit the ground running
