What happens on the Discovery Call?

Here's what some EDs worry about: 

  • "What if they tell me we're not ready?" 

If you're not ready for our services, we'll tell you what we think would work better. We're not gatekeepers. 

  • "What if they judge how we've been doing fundraising?" 

We've seen everything. No CRM, data in Excel, years of no stewardship. We're here to help you build something better from wherever you are now. 

  • "What if this is a high-pressure sales call?" 

It's not. We're both deciding if this is a good fit. If we don't think this is right for you, we'll say so. 

What we talk about for 45 minutes: 

  • Where your fundraising is right now 

  • What's frustrating you most 

  • What you've tried and why it didn't work 

  • Your budget and whether this investment makes sense 

  • Your timeline and what success looks like 

  • Whether our services solve the problems you actually have 

After the call: If we're aligned, you'll get a proposal and we will discuss next steps. If we're not aligned, we'll tell you honestly and point you toward better options. If you need time to think, that's fine too.
