Fractional Fundraising
Exceeding the year-end campaign’s stretch goal.
The Prosperity Project is dedicated to gender equity and women's economic advancement. With a compelling mission and a growing community of supporters, they had real momentum — but no dedicated fundraiser, limited donor stewardship, underdeveloped donation systems, and a grant pipeline that was reactive instead of strategic. The infrastructure and capacity needed to turn that passion into sustainable revenue simply wasn't there.
What we did:
Further Together spent a year building the fundraising foundation that TPP needed to thrive through our Fractional Fundraising service. We created strong donation systems, developed key messages, built a structured grant pipeline, launched targeted campaigns, and created stewardship processes to deepen relationships with major donors.
The results:
140% increase in year-end campaign revenue compared to the previous year.
$42,000 in new grant revenue secured.
91% increase in the number of major gifts received
19% growth in email subscribers after building systems to capture donors and research downloaders.
With a solid fundraising foundation and an engaged donor base, The Prosperity Project is now ready to grow their revenue and impact even more women across the country.
“She has a real talent for building the systems and structures that set a strong foundation for successful fundraising. Highly efficient and incredibly organized, she integrates seamlessly into any team, bringing clarity, momentum, and measurable results.”
-Julie Savard-Shaw, Executive Director, The Prosperity Project
A 287% increase in new donors in just 12 months.
Growing Up Green Charter Schools in New York City has a powerful mission: helping children grow into conscious, contributing community members.
But without a Director of Development, their fundraising infrastructure hadn't kept pace with their growth. They lacked a reliable donor database, consistent communications, and the systems needed to identify and cultivate their best prospective supporters.
What we did:
Further Together stepped in through our Fractional Fundraising service to build the foundation their fundraising program needed. Over 12 months, we set up systems, developed donor cultivation strategies, and launched campaigns that connected supporters to their mission year-round.
The results:
287% increase in new donors from 2024 to 2025.
163% increase in total number of donors year over year.
131% increase in reactivated donors.
51% donor retention rate, well above the industry average.
$25,000+ raised at the 2025 Earth Day Fundraiser, compared to $4,000 raised during Earth Month the year before.
Growing Up Green now has the systems, stories, and donor relationships to keep growing their impact and reaching more families.
“She has handled some of the most redundant and time-consuming parts of transferring our data, worked closely with our ED to get the most out of our new systems, and constantly checked in about our changing needs.”
-Desmond Holliday, Development Associate, Growing Up Green Charter Schools
Two years of record-breaking results
ACSA Community Services had long been successful with project funding but struggled to solicit unrestricted funds. With no fundraising team, branding that didn’t reflect their impact, and their 50th anniversary on the horizon, they risked missing a critical opportunity to grow their individual donor base.
What we did:
Further Together stepped in to provide a clear, tailored strategy and expert implementation support through our Fractional Fundraising service. For over two years, we worked to upskill staff, set up systems, and launch campaigns.
The results:
160% Giving Tuesday growth in our first 12 months working together, followed by another 53% increase in the following year.
Donor retention hit a record 44.36%.
Year-end campaign revenue grew by 24%.
926 new email subscribers who were then stewarded and solicited
ACSA now has the tools and confidence to grow unrestricted revenue and continue making a lasting difference in their community.

Over two years, we solicited major donors, launched campaigns throughout the year, and optimized revenue streams for the Vancouver Jazz Festival.

Fundraising Strategy
A 58% increase in revenue and donors
The SEED has an impactful social enterprise program. However, they struggled to communicate its importance or to identify who their ideal audiences were. With no clear fundraising strategy and limited capacity, they couldn’t fully engage in fundraising.
What we did:
Further Together developed a comprehensive, actionable Fundraising Strategy tailored to their capacity and goals. The SEED was then responsible for following our step-by-step plan.
The results:
With our plan, The SEED saw incredible results in only 12 months:
58% increase in revenue.
58% increase in donor base.
The SEED is now equipped to build deeper donor relationships and continue transforming food systems through their innovative work.

“She engaged with our stakeholders and took the time to really understand where we are and where we are headed. ”
-Theresa Morrison, Executive Director at Bridget’s Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation
The right-sized strategy that led to 30% revenue growth
Bridget’s Bunnies has a clear and compelling mission: ensuring that no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone. Despite lacking core funding, they excelled at fundraising for their annual peer-to-peer run. However, without systems in place to turn one-time run supporters into long-term donors, Bridget’s Bunnies saw severe donor attrition.
What we did:
Further Together developed a Fundraising Strategy tailored to the founder/CEO’s capacity. We suggested high-return opportunities she could implement herself, provided templates, and identified risks. The CEO was then responsible for following our step-by-step 12-month work plan.
The results:
494% increase in funds raised in December.
An 8% increase in funds raised during their annual run.
A 30% increase in overall revenue year over year.
Bridget’s Bunnies is now better positioned to scale their supports to service users and to deepen their relationships with donors.

Working with Further Together was a huge turning point for us. Their guidance in creating a fundraising plan for the Jane/Finch Centre gave us exactly what we were missing: a clear, actionable roadmap to grow our fundraising dollars while also making our efforts more focused and sustainable.

A $1M gift secured in months, and a team with new direction
North York Harvest Food Bank provides food to tens of thousands of people. Facing a leadership gap in fundraising, they lacked the direction and capacity to manage their fundraising team and the strategy.
What we did:
Further Together provided six months of Interim Leadership. We managed a team of five, optimized grant systems, developed key messages, and supported the recruitment and onboarding of their new Director of Development. We also developed Community-Centric guidelines for the team and for the organization overall, helping move the needle within North York Harvest Food Bank.
The results:
Within months, Further Together secured a $1-million-dollar gift—a testament to the impact of expert strategy and skilled leadership.
With our leadership, the senior management team was able to focus on finding the best candidate for their organization, rather than just someone with experience. Due to there being interim leadership, that candidate was set up to hit the ground running.
With a Director of Development now in place, NYHFB is positioned to sustain growth and continue dignified food assistance for their community.
“Further Together would be an asset to any organization looking to develop their fundraising, marketing, communications and community mobilization capabilities”
-Ryan Noble, Executive Director of the North York Harvest Food Bank
A single gift that proved the power of branding
Through our work together, it became clear that ACSA Community Services’ website and branding failed to tell the full story of their work, creating a disconnect for donors and service users alike.
What we did:
Further Together led a full rebrand and website redesign through our custom Branding Service, creating messaging and visuals that captured ACSA’s mission. We built an accessible, user-friendly site with clear messaging that inspired donors and empowered service users.
The result was immediate:
Within one month of launch, ACSA received their highest online gift ever – clear proof of the power of a compelling digital presence. Over time, the website and other digital funnel strategies lead to a significant increase in email subscribers – over 900 new subscribers in just a year!
With a refreshed brand and streamlined donor and user journeys, ACSA is now equipped to deepen engagement, inspire giving, and amplify their impact.
